Mission of Organization:
The Wit’s End Guest Ranch Resort & Spa is said to be “A Luxury Guest Ranch at the Edge Wilderness”. The ranch is nestled in the Colorado Rockies on 550 acres in a narrow valley with soaring 12,000’ to 14,000’ mountain peaks on all sides of the property.
Mission statement: A guest ranch is a wonderful magical like place where families and friends meet, parents and children are reunited, a place where you can do things together, things you want to do at home but can never find the time.
Intern Responsibilities
Job description:
Activities: Activities Director, Mountain Bike Guide, Water Sports Guide, Activities Guide
Responsibilities:
-Coordinating and scheduling activities for guests
-Driving ranch vehicles to and from some activities
-Leading mountain hikes and mountain bike rides
-Operating a speed and pontoon boat
-Teaching water and jet skiing
-Helping with skeet shooting
-Assisting with airport shuttle transportation and luggage
-Assisting children’s department as needed
-Making reservations for guests for off-ranch activities
Requirements and Qualifications
-Must be 18 years of age
-Have a clean driving record
-Must be personable, friendly, and outgoing
Benefits and Opportunities
-Employees will be paid minimum wage or more depending upon the position and experience.
-$175.00 monthly housing cost, plus a $100.00 housing deposit
-Limited recreational opportunities
-Two meals per week
