Internship Position:
Job Description & Duties: As the PARD summer intern I worked in the administration department. I worked with many of the departments. I worked with the marketing, financial, and recreation departments. I also headed up the Sticks for Kids program. This involved transporting summer camp children to Prairie Lakes Golf Course. I then would teach the children golf lesson. I would teach them the difference between putting and hitting on the driving range. The last week of the program the children were allowed to play two to three holes on the golf course. There were two session that were five weeks long and I was in charge of both sessions. Other duties involved getting the summer lunch program for the summer camp children. I also would take the senior center members on tours around the area.

Requirements:
- College Student
- Drivers License
- Able to work weekends.
- Typical computer skills.
- Typical office skills.
Benefits and Opportunities:
Benefits include 40 hours per week at $10.00 an hour. I also had the opportunity to spend time with supervisors of maintenance and operations, aquatics, and athletic departments. I also was in charge of setting up the bounce houses for special events.
